Abstración primaria con cuerda | 14”h x 12”w | Mixed media, found objects on canvas (resin coated) | 2014

This painting started as an abstract piece I created as an example while facilitating a painting class. A few days later in the studio a moment came after I saw it, where I just had to continue experimenting with the piece. I continued dripping more paint, spraying it with 3M adhesive and attaching whichever object closed by like a string and thumb tacks. It is finished with a thick coat of resin.
