This painting developed just as the things that it represents were happening. It was painted over a period of 3 years while a hopeful relationship awaited to bloom, it never did. It is almost like a journal that narrates deep secret feelings with a shaky voice, without intention or previous thought, but causing an indescribable pain in the heart just as if your blood was being offered to the Aztec Gods.
